Financial Services for Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, a region of six counties and three WIC locations, are processed at the Parkersburg location.
Purchasing is administered by use of a purchase order system in compliance with the State of WV guidelines for bids and quotes. Cristy Riggs may be contacted with questions related to Agency purchases. Mary Putnam processes the Accounts Payable. Any questions related to payment of an invoice may be directed to her.
Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department is compliant with laws regulating the protection of Electronic Protected Health Information (EPHI). Policies and procedures are established to assure protection of and prevention of access to a client’s Protected Health Information (PHI).
Funding And Fees
Many services at Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department are funded by Medicaid/HMO’s, and programs through the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health, PEIA, or Medicare. Some programs may use a sliding fee scale based on Federal Poverty Guidelines to calculate the portion of payment for which a client is responsible.
