Local Health Administrator

Richard (Dick) Wittberg is a PhD Biologist who has worked in management positions for over 25 years.  He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and attended Ohio State University (BS), the University of New Hampshire (MS), the State University of New York (PhD), and Ohio University (MBA).  He started with the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department as a Regional Epidemiologist and was promoted to Executive Director in December of 2004.  An avid runner, Dick is passionate about clean air and healthy lifestyles and hopes his presence in this lead role can help make the nine counties served by MOVHD  better, healthier places for residents and their families.
