Healthy Community Developer members serve throughout West Virginia as part of the West Virginia Community Health AmeriCorps Developer (WVCHAD) Program. Each member is provided training and support in their efforts to make our communities a healthier place to live through outreach and implementation of health programs.
AmeriCorps benefits include: A monthly living stipend, an education award upon completion of service, the possibility of health benefits, and the possibility of child care help. Qualifications include: 18 years of age or older; eligible to work in the United States; High School Diploma or GED; and willing to have background check performed.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong communication skills; motivated problem solver; time management; compassion and empathy.
