FLU CLINIC

FLU SHOTS
Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department will be conducting a “flu clinic”:
Wednesday, October 24th from 9:00 -11:00 and 1:00 – 3:00.
Cost of a Flu shot is $15.00. We will bill the following Insurance Companies: Medicare (Part B; some Medicare HMO’s accepted) Medicaid/HMO’s, Carelink, HealthPlan, Unicare and PEIA.
The clinic will be on a “walk-in” basis. You must be:
* 50 years of age or older
* 5-49 years of age with a chronic illness or medical condition
* Pregnant or planning to be pregnant
* Child age 6-59 months
* Caretakers of persons that are high risk
* Healthcare workers working with high risk patients
* Anyone who can spread influenza to those at high risk.
Pneumonia Shots are available, by appointment, at each county office for a $25.00 fee.
