Group Lifestyle Balance
Group Lifestyle Balance is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program. This program can help participants lose 5-7% of body weight and increase physical activity to at least 150 minutes per week. A trained lifestyle coach will meet with you as a class weekly for 12 core sessions and then less frequently for 10 more sessions.
If you are over 18 and are overweight, have a family history of diabetes, have ever been told by a health care professional that you have pre-diabetes, elevated sugar, borderline, or have had gestational diabetes, and would like to join a class, contact Sherry Ellem at 304.485.7374 ext. 151.
