DREAM/PACE Introduction
In January 2007, The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department implemented two new programs. These programs are DREAM and PACE. DREAM (Diet Record, Exercise and Activity Monitor) is a healthy lifestyles program for adults. This program is designed to give adults the support they need to make changes in their present lifestyle that will result in weight loss and a healthier life.
PACE, which stands for Promoting Activity in Children Everywhere, is designed for children 5 and up. The focus of this program is to help children become more active and to change unhealthy habits that are forming now to healthy habits that will follow them into adulthood.
Both programs are still accepting clients. There is NO CHARGE for either program.
