Program Manager
Steve began his Public Health career in 1978 as a Sanitarian. He worked in both Wood and Pleasants counties. In 1986 he became a full-time Wood County Sanitarian. In 2001, Steve assumed the position of Director of Environmental Health Services. In 2003, he became Program Manager for Environmental Health and Threat Preparedness. Steve is serving his second term as President of the West Virginia Association of Sanitarians and is President-Elect of the West Virginia Public Health Association. He also serves as Vice-Chair for the West Virginia Board of Registration for Sanitarians.
Additional responsibilities are MOVHD Public Information Officer and Risk Communications lead. Steve is a 1977 graduate of WVU with a B.A. in Political Science.
He has completed numerous EH trainings and certifications during his 25+ year career and serves on multiple state EH committees.
