Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP)
The West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (WVBCCSP) is a comprehensive public health program that helps uninsured or under-insured women gain access to breast and cervical cancer screening services. To go along with this program is WISEWOMAN: Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation.
This program’s goal is to provide low-income, under or uninsured women, ages 40-64, with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to improve their diet, physical activity and other lifestyle behaviors to prevent, delay and control cardiovascular and other chronic diseases.
