Tuberculosis (TB)

Tuberculosis is a contagious disease that is caused by bacteria. The bacteria mainly infects the lungs, but they can also damage other parts of the body. It spreads from one person to another through tiny droplets released into the air from coughs and sneezes. If you have been exposed to TB, you should be tested. The MOVHD provides TB screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
